Security and privacy – Zoom
There are continuing concerns regarding Zoom and security and privacy policies.
Please be aware that Sussex Dance Network will be using Zoom as our platform to connect online:
– We are making sure that we use the latest version, Zoom have been issuing security and privacy updates
– You will only be invited via Zoom/SDN with a prior email from sussexdancenetwork.co.uk notifying you that the link will be sent separately.
– In general folks, keep alert and please do not copy or forward the meeting link. Ask them to contact the host to add their name
-like with emails, take an extra look to make sure it’s genuine each time you get a Zoom link or document messaged or forwarded to you.
If you make the decision not to use Zoom, we don’t want you to lose out, so do get in touch if that is the case.
