Callum is a contemporary dance artist and screendance director working across live and digital performance. Based in Brighton, Callum has danced for physical theatre and 360-degree sound performances, performance-art works and music videos for local bands. These experiences have informed his teaching practice, as he aims to bring together contemporary and classical techniques.
Based in release technique, the class will focus on ease of strengthening and application of codified dance styles. Bridging authentic movement and technical practice, we will build a safe space in which to explore our moving bodies. Beginning with improvisation, the class will incorporate imagery as we move towards set phrases.
