My class starts with a balletbarre added with warm-up elements of pilates/Fletcher pilates/yoga ending with some ballet exercises in the middle before starting contemporary moves based on or inspired by Netherlands Dance Theatre repertoire and physical theatre techniques. My classes are focussed on warming up the core-strength, technique and coordination not by using force but by a ‘yin’-approach through visualisation, lightness and breath. The second half on experimenting with physical theatre in dance.
