Class description:
I have an experienced background with contemporary floor work, taking inspiration from capoeira, martial arts and acrobatics. The classes will teach participants techniques to find multiple ways to come in and out of the floor safely whilst developing confidence and control in taking weight on their hands and spending time upside down.
Bio:
My name is Oliver (you can call me Ollie), and I spent 6 years training at DancceEastCAT scheme along side school. Upon graduating college with a Triple D*, I got into Northern School of Contemporary Dance, where I trained for 3 years, developing my own movement language of release inspired floor work. Having graduated NSCD with First Class Honours, I started my one year MA, along side being on placement with professional, Brighton-based dance company, James Wilton Dance where I have continued work for the past 2 years after finishing the MA with a Distinction.
