Our contact improvisation group organises classes, open jams and workshops which are open to all bodies, no matter of experience.

Contact improvisation is an open-ended exploration of two or more bodies moving while sharing physical contact. By offering a regular space for learning and practicing the form we aim to gather and share the evolving practice of contact improvisation and its practitioners. As there are different approaches to learning and practicing CI classes would vary. All classes are led by experienced teachers from inside and around the region.

  • The class will start with a 1.5-hour class followed by a 1 hour jam
  • The jam will start with a 30 minute guided warm-up followed by a 2 hour jam

Both sessions are open to all levels and no previous experience is required.

See below for dates and teachers.
