Anna works in movement, as a performer, choreographer and Pilates teacher. She is fascinated by humans and the moving body, and constantly curious about the connections that are to be found between movement and all aspects of life.
Anna has worked extensively within inclusive arts, predominantly for Stopgap Dance Company; leading workshops and choreographing in collaboration with the British Council in Albania, Algeria, Cairo, and for Granada International Festival. Anna is one of Bittersuite’s co-founders, choreographers and outreach directors.
Anna is a central collaborator in multi-sensory performance company BitterSuite, with recent performances at The Royal Opera House, The Roundhouse and RichMix in London, at Wilderness Festival, and in leading workshops for SENSE Uk’s inclusive sensory exploration projects for deaf-blind artists.
Anna was recently commissioned by South East Dance’s Welcome Project to create work with a group of Brighton residents living with Dementia; to be shared as part of Our City Dances Festival 2019.
Her fascination of the body in motion and desire to teach led her to train with Body Control Pilates to teach Pilates matwork. Anna has taught at a number of studios in the south of England, has worked with dancers in training at London Studio Centre, and run wellness retreats; bringing together movement, good food and good company, in the Rhone Valley in France and with a retreat coming up in Sussex in July 2019.
